Portable shrine festival around Shitaya Shrine on 8 9 10 May.
The Shitaya Shrine was originally built on the Ueno plateau in 730.
Please enjoy the portable shirine and the street food market that has 1000 years of history.
8th May: Japanese festival (Matsuri ) starts 13:00 -
9th May: Portable Shrine of each town meet up 19:30 - 20:30.
10th May: Portable Shrine parade 9:00 - 15:00.
Shitaya Shrine: 6 minutes on foot from JR Ueno station.
